In the CRC 1066 framework it is possible to apply for a students helper (HIWI), which can support the Ph.D. candidates' research within the subprojects. For each subproject the funding covers the employment of one HIWI per year (19 h/week, 2 months).
Applications can be made by all Ph.D. candidates associated to a subproject of the CRC 1066.
The application process requires a cover letter describing the research project as well as the tasks and needs of the student helper. A special CRC-committee decides on the approval of the applications.
With the expiration of the HIWI-funding, a 1-page roundup of results must be composed and submitted to the committee.
