The CRC 1066 is set up by subprojects of high multidisciplinarity. However, the scientific issues go far beyond each subproject and a close interaction in between the projects is of greater importance. As a solid foundation for this interaction, the integrated research training group of this CRC brings together the Ph.D. candidates from all disciplines, i.e. chemistry, pharmacy, physics and biomedicine.
The integrated research training group will foster the interaction and understanding across the different disciplines. In addition it provides a convenient introduction into the CRC's scientific topics for new student members.
The Ph.D. candidates benefit, amongst others, from the organization of lecture series, tutorials, student seminars and summer schools.
