15th Science Market 2016

On the 10th and 11th of September, Mainz hostet the 15th science market on the subject “Human and Medicine”. The Collaborative Research Center CRC 1066 presented his topic concerning “Nanodimensional polymer therapeutics for tumor therapy”. The exhibition was presented by members of Integrated Research Training Group and intrigued visitors could learn more about the work on our topic and different successfully interacting disciplines . Young people could gain experience in first pipetting experiments and learned how zentrifugation can be used for purification of substances. Furthermore, different cell slides could be observed under a microscope. A variety of colored nanoparticle models and illustrated posters were used to explain the work of the CRC 1066 to curious visitors.

The 15th science market enabled a successful presentation of the interdisciplinary work between the Johannes Gutenberg University, the University Medical Center and the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research within the CRC 1066 and gained the enthusiasm of the spectators.
